The area around Bormes Les Mimosas is a favourite among divers. Favière harbour has two diving clubs, as does Le Lavandou, and for good reason, as there are no fewer than 4 boat and plane wrecks nearby. Facing the Golden Islands, the towns of Bormes and Le Lavandou are an ideal starting point for exploring the Port Cros seabed and the Bagaud, Rascas and Gabinière islets. The Port Cros seabed has been classified as a natural park, and is the leading marine national park in Europe The clubs offer first dives or introductory courses, or ‘wreck’ courses for experienced divers.
This dive center is open all year round and has a large reception area of 200 m2. Aboard a 60 m2 catamaran with solarium, you will leave with your qualified and experienced instructor to one of the best spots near Port-Cros such as Gabinière, or to the legendary wrecks that lie at the bottom of the Mediterranean. (Togo, Barge congres, Donator, Rubis ...). The center houses a projection room and computers are available to guests (free Wi-Fi). A large free car park, a rinse tank and access to the boats are nearby. A tailor-made dive schedule is offered to groups of more than 10 to 55 people, with discounts that vary according to the number of divers.
This dive center is run by an athlete who has 15 years of experience in the sector and two state patents (scuba diving and downhill skiing). It offers outings for beginners and beginners (including children) in the bay of Bormes-les-Mimosas as well as in the islands of Hyères (Port-Cros, Porquerolles). The reception and the shop are located on the port, a few meters from the boarding point. To guarantee a personalized treatment to each client, the outings are done in small groups of 4 divers maximum in a modern and comfortable boat, totally privatized for a day or a half-day.
