A 2 kilometre long sandy beach stretches from the Fréjus nature centre to Saint Aygulf. In high winds, it becomes a paradise for fans of board sports, such as kite surfing, funboarding and windsurfing. A kite surf school stages courses and beginners or advanced classes.
The spot of Saint Aygulf, which is among the most beautiful spots of the Var and the PACA region, has been frequented by kitesurfers for a little over a decade. A barrier-free channel of about 400 meters is reserved for fans of this thrilling sport so they can practice their discipline safely, out of the swimming area. The beautiful beach of Saint-Aygulf is also conducive to other water activities such as boogie boarding, surfing, stand-up paddling (SUP), sailing, scuba diving, jet-skiing, towed buoy and sport fishing.
This center located on the beach of Saint Aygulf offers courses and courses of kitesurf and hydrofoil for children and adults, beginners and insiders. Labeled FFVL (French Federation of Free Flight), it was created in 2000 by Hervé Rousseau, kitesurfeur of international fame five times champion of France (from 2011 to 2015) and winner of world competitions such as the World Race Board in Douarnenez in 2013. On request, classes can take place on other beaches of the Var and the Côte d'Azur. With a qualified and experienced instructor, you will learn in a secure area to master the elements and to slide on the water. Your internship has you more? Are you keen on kitesurfing? Kitesurf Evasion will invite you to join the FKS (Frejus Kite Surf) club, a community of kitesurf enthusiasts. They will give you precious advice to improve you and will reveal the best spots of the Côte d'Azur. They will also provide you with practical information such as upcoming competitions, accident insurance and how to apply for your kitesurfer license.
