The Valescure Golf Course is one of the oldest in the Var. With a length of 5019 metres, it was created in 1895 by British aristocrats. Competitions take place nearly every weekend and the club has courses for youngsters to learn golf. The course has 18 holes, spread out over more than 5 kilometres, surrounded by stone pines, a practice course, a school and a club.
Located in Saint-Raphaël, the famous seaside resort on the Côte d'Azur, the Valescure golf course is set in an exceptional natural setting. This green setting, in which alternate sunny areas and shaded areas, is an ideal place to relax after a nautical activity, feel in harmony with nature and practice an exciting sport during his camping holidays in the Var.
The course seems simple at first sight, because the distances are rather short. It is however very technical, with small greens and narrow fairways that require great skill and excellent composure. The golf courses are taught by Patrick Cotton, French number one in 1978, a talent combined with an experience of nearly 40 years in the teaching of his favorite sport.
There are also tennis courts and a tennis school offering courses for fans of the little yellow ball.
This golf course has a beautiful course at the foot of the Esterel mountains and lined with umbrella pines, a putting green and a chipping green to train, a restaurant and a shop that sells equipment, accessories and clothes. Trolleys and carts are allowed. The restaurant is privatized for individuals and companies who wish to celebrate a personal or professional event: wedding, birthday, seminar, business meal ... The varied menu includes several salads, meats (entrecote, beef tartare, pavé d ' lamb) and fish (ceviche salmon and cod, grilled sardines, grilled wolf with fennel ...).
